this sounds like a good idea, but not so much the creative writing area as the off topic lounge, or a sub forum in creative writing so that it doesn't detract from everyone's literary attempts, it shouldn't be a problem, and I'll look into if it warrants a sub forum

Yeah. A place to talk about books would be awesome. I love to read and talk to people about books.
