I know this is similar to another topic, but this is an ideas topic, everyone is gone!!! 4 hours until last response? what's that? How can we bring people back? How??? It was way more fun before, and it's not only because of college...they just left...so how can we bring people back or make new members actually stay?

Well I don't know. The last few things that happened here really killed the site. Also the owner is fucking up hardcore right now and its killing the site. Granted new members are still coming in but all the older people have left due to "issues" and "uncontrollable events caused by a certain someone". In otherwords the attacks and crashes have blind sided the site and nearly killed it by destroying the rep the site had for being a good site. Now thousands of people know it was "hacked" into and don't want to come and are spreading the word. I wouldn't be surprised if the new members coming in trickle down to nothing soon.

I honestly don't know how to fix it. Dying sites happen, it just it really sucks especially for me, someone whose been here for a long time and has invested time and money to make it better. All I have to say is the owner needs to stop being an asshole and SHAME ON A CERTAIN SOMEONE FOR FUCKING WITH THE SITE. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE AND IM STILL not HAPPY WITH WHAT YOU DID TO THE SITE!!!

Actually when I first joined, it was perfect for about 2 weeks then it started fallinf like crazy. I still don't know what really happened but...it sucks and it's sad.

This site has critacly lost tons of members after the crash several weeks before. Not only that but there are so many other problems still left unattened on this site that have pissed people off and made them leave. ( Chatbox failures, Unable to update sig, unable to upload pics onto album, unable to open a forum or page, etc. ) This site has had tons of members in the past and many of them have quit the ite and left it completely. Yes, college is affecting a fair amount of members being on, but that's only some. Even though there are a lot of new members on this site, many of them only watch vids or never get back on. To be honest, this sites future doesn't look very promising...

Ya, you have no idea what you missed out on and its sad you came so late but it seems that the site is at its last ends. Maybe if more new members keep on joining and participating in the forums AND if the owner stops being a stupid cunt then the site will have a chance but the way it looks I don't know.
Also during the last update the stuid owner forgot to add the admins and staff with our permissions so we cant do much to the site especially the admin, they cant update the front page. Also the stupid owner fucked up by almost suing DF for him adding something to the site without his permission which caused DF to give the idiot the middle finger and leave the owner to the site death. Demonfox is no longer the owner of this, and hasn't been for some time. It's the new owner of which Lee is referring to. He has never been seen on here, nor has he done a whole fucking lot to keep the pillars of this site from collapsing. I'm really sad that AF has fallen so far; this site was the first forum I was ever a member of, and it opened up new doors to fun I would have never opened before. At least we'll still have the memories to look back at.

True. It's the people not the owner that keeps a site running. This site might be going down but we are the ones whop keep it from collapsing.

Well, it is really a shame... but yeah the place is dying. The site traffic itself is slowly taking dives (15% decrease in overall website traffic the past 3 months). There were many factors involved in this, and the seeds were sown probably much sooner than everyone thinks... In fact Demon sold the site back in September due to financial struggles, it was either do that to support AF or take it down because Adsense blocked us and we couldn't generate enough funds for the server. He was still pretty much in charge of the site until about January-February when the new owner threatened him with some sort of legal action for changing some things, so DF decided to drop the site and move on. (http://anidemon.com) Despite many attempts at contact... this new owner has refused to talk to or even introduce himself to any of the staff at all, even the admins - perfectly content to "let the site run itself" which can only be done for so long - leading to bad things like this happening. As for the site keeping up, well without my being able to update the anime for the homepage due to this nonsense, the site traffic will keep going down, the only place that we could keep going just with people is the forum.

But I digress. I have nothing more to say on this matter.

but if you see a good and interesting post that you like OR the opposite, just press the rep button and aprove(add rep) or disaprove(deplete rep). and i don't think you can do it to the same member again unless you rep other members.
