okay, so maybe that's jumping the gun, just a bit.... , but a planet that might be habitable has been read for yourself.

It's not really jumping the gun. We have actually found several other planets that could be similar to Earth within the last 5 years, and any number of them have a chance at supporting life.

Here's hoping in the next lifetime we develope the technology to travel to those planets.

Hmm... i wonder f the animals in there are edible, if they are infact animals of course and not some sort of weird entitie that doesnot categorize in any of our current kinds of livng creatures.

pretty interesting but says in the article that those planets are either too close to the sun, or too far from the sun. you could say maybe being too close, or too far could actually support life. but could be just jumping the gun again and getting to excited because the planet is green and blue.

Thats greath that there is another planet but........ how do we even get there I mean its 20 1/2 light years away. We havn't figured out how to travel though worm holes yet!

Plus, to all you scientists, ALL LIFE ISN'T THE SAME!!!! We life off water, that doesn't mean everything else in this universe does. Same thing with oxygen. Some things out there don't NEED it. They probobly breath and drink something else. So, start looking. Or, you'll just prove to everyone that you guys aren't looking for life at all. Your just looking for as place we can go to once this planet get's destroyed by our own hands.

Well technically they are actually expierementing with warp and I believe they are sucessfull at sending objects however its different for sending life through

The americans and others are experimenting with wrap, forcefields and telepathy.. it sadly dosnt mean they are making that much progress, the real hope is tech that allows travel near the speed of light, cos anything slower means many many many generations of people on a ship before we could even get there

FYI, a light year is a distance/length unit.

Don't dream people, we won't even be alive for the time people are able to travel at light-speed.
The only way would be to "develop" a way to teleport..
and even like that, the probabilities of living in another world are goddamn low...

There are no animals, and if there are their blood is venomous. Koshering the meat takes forever, and even then you can't guarantee that you'll be able to actually catch something. Our weapons could prove ineffective against them. Looks like you all have to become vegetarian. That is, if the plants on there aren't poisonous as well.....
