If you remember, I posted another thread a couple months ago that had 2 mystery timers, ultimatly leading to revealing 2 games that were just really damn confusing with all that japanese text.

Well, now we have another one, and the theory sounds alot more simple; tu4ar. People are assuming this to mean "Take You For a Ride", the character select theme for Marvel Vs Capcom 2.

Marvel Vs. Capcom? It is an arcade style fighting game that was originally released in (what else?) arcades, before being ported to the playstation, ultimatly being heralded as one of the best fighting games ever created. The title says it all, it's characters from the marvel comics fighting against characters from capcom games, going as far as to have fights such as Megaman verses Wolverine, Ryu from Street Fighter fighting Spiderman, and many other characters of course.

Arguments for this site revealing it's sequal game, Mavel Vs. Capcom 2 are shown in the first link I posted, and hopes for the game being re-released on modern consoles are high (Since people don't seem to have much interest on that other recently announced fighting game with the similarly themed title but with differently themed worlds

These timers are starting to get pretty common. If you've played Marvel Vs. Capcom, are you excited that this may finally be modernized? What do you think about companies using these timers to tease players? If there was any game you wanted to see teased using this method, what game and in what style timer?

Personally, I never played the original M Vs C games, but I always wanted to, and I may have a chance now. The clocks? Working right now but they need to up the ancy a little on them.

A game I want to be teased with this? Legend of Dragoon 2. I want the timer to be of the Moon that never sits hovering ontop at 12, with the second moon traveling around the clock on the hour hand. The second moon would pass under the moon that never sets, partially at first, but the clock coming closer and closer with the second moon gradually being eclipsed by it, and fully eclisped on the day that the timer runs down. Then at that instant, the Moon that never sets changes from the coming of the Black Monster before the site totally kicks my ass in revealing the sequal to my favorite RPG on the playstation.
