I agree with lee here. I don't have problem with gays but I admit even I have said some rough things about them. I usually don't mean what I say but I understand it can be real hurtful for those who are gay or bi. I think being hateful towards gays/bis is kind of like the racist jokes and other crap out there. For example me, I'm Hispanic and get lots of crap about it. usually jokes but I learned to live with it since most of the things said are just for fun. My point is people do say many things but most people don't really mean it. Like calling some one/thing, gay.Its something that stuck but its not really referring to gays at all. Yeah, this is about the way to see it. Actually I make fun of whatever I find funny. If I find you gayness funny, then find probable that I WILL make fun of you, since I believe everyone should be treated equally.

My best friend is gay, so if I made fun of or had the attitude that gay ppl are beneath me I would have missed out on meeting a really cool person and forming such a good friendship. Homosexuality isn't wrong by any means. It's a natural phenomenon, 'designed' for some degree of natural population control.
