Stupid dragon ball movie>:

What do you guys think about that dragon ball movie. It is nothing like dragon ball, except fpr the dragon balls. It irritates me so much since i love that series.:mad:

I'm sure someone on here will like it, but as for me I think it is an affront to DBZ's good name. The main character isn't even named Goku until he finds out about an old prophecy depicting a great battle between "The Chosen One" and the herbringer of all that is evil, the one named Piccolo. Master Roushi is not the short, balding, skinny man us fans have loved and seen throughout the serious, but a tall, somewhat buff man with no beard. Bulma is still tech savvy, and she brings along capsules with her, but she's a far cry from the Bulma of the series.

Despite the fact that I hate this movie, I'll probably be like the thousands of others going to watch it to see if it is actually any good. But I hope I'm wrong. I'd rather not go to jail for attempted murder on the director and producers of this film.

Jeez, they didn't even make the actors look like the characters at all.
Seems like that lame Street-Fighter movie they released a while back.
Man, did U.S. producers ran out of ideas on how to use up their themes that now they want to kill anime as well?
Or maybe its on purpose seeing how Anime beats they're stupidity-based show (admit it, they are) so now they're planmmimg on killing anime by making crappy cheap-o live avtion anime movies...

It probably is, but Chow Yun-Fat plays Goku's teacher, Master Roshi. Not many people related Gohan to first being Goku's grandpa, they always think of the son first. So while his grandpa Gohan might be in there, it is Master Roshi that's training him.

I saw it the day it came out. It was an ok movie but the story was too fast, the way they sounded some of the names were like off, the movie itself was too short. At least make the characters from the regular anime sound alike. According the end there is going to be a sequal but with all that i had seen that showed up to the movie I dont think there will be a second movie

The Dragon Ball movie sucked so badly my friend had a seizure outside of the movies and would not stop crying. Then Shenlon was also way to small it was probably the size of the hand of the actual Shenlon. I knew the movie would stink but I still had to watch it. Piccolo was just like Darth Vader, Green Goblin and Valdomort combined.
