I'm going to go w/ Link from the Zelda games, let's face it, even in reincarnation he get's the short end of the stick, guy can't get a quiet period of time to live in, the past, the present, the future, even alternate realities, everyone is trying to kill him, and despite the fact that it's implied that he hooks up w/ Princess Zelda, you notice they never seem to show it, he goes through all that, and he might not even get lucky after he saved her

He's a Frog with a sword and he's a bad ass that stabs things! Whats not to like?!

2: Lulu - Final Fantasy 10.
Probably one of the best mages in the FF series. And she animates dolls to attack when she runs outta MP. Pure win?

3: Cid - Final Fantasy 7.
A bad ass astronaut with a mouth like a sailor. Bad ass!

4: Conker - Conkers Bad Fur Day.
A squirrel with a gun, whats not to love!?

5: Terra - Final Fantasy 3(NA) / 6(jp).
Half human, half esper, switch forms in battle = Pwn!

I have to put my vote in for someone else now too that I nearly completely forgot. Ryu Hayabusa from Ninja Gaiden. He's not only the swiftest and most agile character in ANY game, but the bosses from the game are some of the hardest ever, and if he can beat them, then he's definitely TEH UB3R!
