I remain sceptical when I start. To date I've almost never watched an anime, starting from the very beginning. I usually start watching an anime a few episodes in (For Example, Eureka Seven, I think episode 13. Dragonball, looking for the Dragonball in Sinow Village. Yu Yu Hakusho, Gen Kai's Tournament).

After I've seen a couple episodes in the middle, I'll start again from the beginning, and that's when I really get into a series.

That's very backward...but to each his own...

I feel excited to see what happens, but usually the first episode isn't the best, so it is almost a let down - I always expect way to much.

i watch the first episode with an open mind... if i enjoy it or want to see what happens next... if i didnt enjoy it and dont care what ahppens then i give it the middle finger and thats that
