Of course the most logical answer to that is to start colonizing other planets. Not using the same propulsion system that we have though....that would take forever to get to the nearest habitable planet. There are 4 level of civilization. The first level is being able to harness the resources of a certain area on a planet such as the early Egyptians and Aztecs. The second level can harness the resources of a whole planet such as we are now. The third level can harness the energies and resources of whole star systems and the fourth type can do this for entire galaxies. We have a very long way to go and thats if we have the potential to actually reach that last level of civilization. To reach the next level in our own evolution we must find a way to travel faster then the speed of light. Granted Einstein made it very difficult for us to do that but the solution to that theory is really simple, just make a whole new set of laws of physics. Ok so maybe its a bit harder then stated, but it can be done. Once we gain this technology we can then spread our selves out and that video is going to have to be redone.

The thing of other countries having more people smarter than the ones in the U.S. well, did that really surprise anyone?
I'm not saying they're all dumb or anything, but i mean, take a look around if you're there and you'll see what i'm talking about (best reaflected in the entertainment shown in T.v. shows made in that country).

ya, the deal with other countries out smarting the western world is actually a rather interesting issue. Countries like India and China produce these exceedingly educated students as a result of living in a poorer, overpopulated nation where the necessity to rise above is far beyond what's seen in lazy north america. It's gotten to the point that foreign workers are taking north american jobs and people complain about it even though they're dumb and have been sitting on their ass figuring they've got it made because they live in the richest nation around. The old ant and grasshopper story at it's best.
