I've noticed from several of my threads that not that many people are actually replying to any of them. But someone else might have 200 replys to one of their threads instead. I think this might have something to do with their rep lv. ( since im a newbie and they're usualy a veteran ) If you know why this might be then send a comment. :wave:

im still quite new,
but i dont think the two are related, to me rep is when someone makes a funny post or a nice piece of creative writing you can give them good rep, or if you find there post was uncalled for or being an extremly nasty comment they might get bad rep from people

I guess you can say people with more rep have generally been here longer, so they're more use to the way things go. They have a better understanding of what these people are in to and whatnot.

Reputation doesn't mean or do anything actually. What matters is making a thread that gets people interested. Our administrator Corwin had the bare basic rep level for the longest time and constantly made threads that pushed over 4 pages of posts.

If you're known on the site you tand to get a bit more attention when you make somthing. I make tons of threads in the gamers guild for example. Alot of people like me and I'm friends with a bunch of the regular users but most of my threads are lucky to get past a single page. It's not a big deal and proof that reputation doesn't mean anything.

Yeah, really. Just look at your longevity--I wouldn't worry about it. Personally, I rarely even make threads. I suggest taking the time to know the community--maybe you'll end up making a thread that sparks a particular interest.
