Elfen Lied is a great anime though it is a lot of blood and nudity in it :) you could also try One Piece even though it is like 390+ episodes...

Long series doesn't make it bad. Just because you didn't like it means that he wouldn't. Anyways, it's your opinion, I don't care.

ps. a) don't clump FLCL in with bleach and naruto
b) don't put 'supposedly' in front of it if you're going to.

bleach
black cat
dnangle
d. gray-man
Trigun
(current of 4 hourly changing top 5)
Trinity Blood
Elfen Lied (warining! warning! extreme violence and nudity)
and more

but if your into romance anime i dont know many

sci-fi:

horror
Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni

(\/ not yet finnished with)
Tsubasa and Outlaw Star are also good anime to watch
and thats all i can think of right now if you want more lemme know and if i cannot find an anime you like ill refer you to someone else
