ghosts and spirits real or not?

Next week im off to a so called haunted hotel, to stay the weekend in its most haunted room 1209, where beds and items move on there own, guests wake in a sweat feeling that they are on fire from the time when the hotel burned down in the 1900's, people waking up in the middle of the night to see a shadowing figure looking down at them, then watch as the figure walks though a wall, errie footsteps coming from the corner of the room with no person making the sounds, cold spots but right next to that spot the temperature is 10 degrees hotter.

the reason im staying in this place is cause im on the border line here i like to thing there is something else but never in my life time have i come across firm undeniable proof that ghosts do exist, so with my trusted night vision camera and emf meter and laser therometer im off to see if this is a bid to get more people to stay in this room cause there is all these supposed paranormal activity, or if a ghost really does reside in the room.

Do ghosts exist?
when people die do they come back to visit the places they loved during their real life or possibly because the tramic events of their death keeps them grounded bound to this world?

Are orbs the first stage of a ghost manifestation or are they just lights reflecting off of something or a camera lense focusing on dust?

Parapsychologists claim bricks in buildings can become imprinted by the past recording past events and showing them in present day as ghostly images or sounds.

They also claim that high eletrictro magnetic fields or (EMF) can cause a person to hear see and feel things that aren't there, they also say a high emf reading where there is no electric souce could be a ghost.

Have any of you had some eerie experience that couldn't be explained?

Or do you think it's a load of rubbish people make up

Real 100% don't know if they were once alive or if they even have anything to do with humans, might be completly diferent kind of existance, but one thing's for sure they DO exist as i for one have experienced two supernatural incidents involving these entities.

i not know what they are but there is definitely something going on.

i used to live in a house where every night the faucet in one of the bath rooms would turn on by its self. some nights i would go in a turn it off, but other nights i would let it run and if i did it would turn its self off.

Nothing is never impossible. Sometimes if Im somewhere where I think I shouldn't be especially if its dark I can feel a presence of something else there .Like something is climbing up and down my spine giving me chills. It weired though if they are real I wish I can communicate with them and find out what they want!

I never had any experience but I believe in human souls and I think they have some sort of power. Now, if they stay on earth or move to another place or whatever, I don't know, but I sure believe that paranormal phenomena occur.

i never even thought of this idea and it seems a very good valid point, i always assumed they would be deceased humans
some of you said the same as bone tosser so if ghosts are not deceased humans what else could they be?

This will also lead me on to the thought of mediums, i've watched some shows with mediums and some of they seemed geniue and some not so much,

the thing i do feel with shows such as taps, most haunted and ghosthunters is surely they could easily stage some of the footage and sounds to get more viewers i suppose we can never be really sure of the evidence they show as we are not their in person and cant account in first hand but then again some of the footage that is shown on these programmes can seem quite real

good video, the way i look at videos that catch things like this is that yes, they could be hoaxes, but i find it hard to believe that they all are.

also, i onces had a professor who made a vary good point about subjects like this,
he said (these aren't his exact word) "if you were to go back in time 200 years and started saying that there was this energy that was all around us and we could use this energy to talk and send images to people all around the world at the speed of light, they would say you were crazy. but today we all know about radio waves."

Some people say that emotions can be so strong they leave an imprint in time. So maybe a ghost could be an emotion that takes the shape of a human and it somehow gets replayed. But that would depend on the kind of ghost. Some believe that poltergeists is in fact energy from very a stressed (or somehow otherwise emotionally struggling) person, and this manifests as waves of 'poltergeist' attacks.

Then you should have an easier time spotting the fakes, yes? I've seen enough vids that I can tell if it is an obvious fake. And I can tell from my own research many of the less obvious forgeries. With your background you should be able to identify the hoaxes that I miss.

I believe in ghosts as well,i have not had any personal experience with the paranormal, but my mom has had many encounters. one time she was ay the local hospital and she kept hearing children laughing down the hall. she asked the nurse about it and she said something to the effect of "there are no kids on this floor" the nurse had checked earlier and no tv's or radios were on at the time. she has a picture that she took in her childhood home of her mom and dad and there is a face on the cuboard.

i think they are real, but for me its whether or not the person's psyche is demented or not, thats why i think most crazy people arent really crazy they just see what we norms dont and if it be true then im envious!

umm in ways that is true but theres more to it i would think Kamouri it doesnt just have to be the attachment of people the spirit or ghost could be attached to the place they died possabile wouldnt u think? most the time you'd see or hear bout that being more when they feel like they have unfinished busniess or are just scared of going into the next world.

i moved into my house now and in the attic theres thumpin, tickin, and bangin and my neighbor said one time he was sleepin and he woke up and the whole room was lit by candle and tyere was people talkin sayin his name but no one was home i would believe him but he smokes bud way to much lol
