Anime / Manga parodies

I know this might sound strange, but what is your reaction or how do you feel, when you are watching an anime or reading a manga and there was a parody that linked it to an other anime or manga. I'm currently reading the manga Genshiken and the amount of parodies is crazy. I mean Fate/Stay Night, Final Fantasy 7, possible Elfen Lied, and a heck of alot more.

I feel like a real otaku seeing how I recognise almost everything whenever something like that happens.

I also noticed that the amount of these parodies is increasing in the coming newer anime and mangas. How also thinks so?

It's about any of them. I'm talking about parodies themselves in the anime and manga. The one I mentioned, Genshiken, was only an example. This is to just to chat about them, nothing really special I guess.

Sorry if I wasn't clear, I couldn't get on for over 2 weeks so I'm a little rusty at chatting.

Parody. Where one anime mock, make fun of, or talk about another anime. (EX: Gintama)

And of course Genshiken is. It's an anime about Otaku.

Yakitate!! Japan and Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei show parodies as well.
I catch some but not all though. [must watch moar anime]

And yeah, I've seen an increase in parodies with these newer anime/manga.

If I really enjoy an anime series I wouldn't mind seeing a parody made of it. I liked Fumoffu (parody of Full Metal Panic) because they continued the real story as well. It's funnier than a regular comedy since you already have a... familiarity and liking for the characters. I would love to see a parody of Vampire Knight.

I really enjoy anime/manga that makes parodies of others. I enjoy 'spotting the anime' like how i did while watchin Yakitate Japan and Hayate no Gotoku, it's really fun...
