help with story

i need help coming up with ideas for an action story. it has to have some sort of angelic being with magic but i need a story plot. someone give me ideas and i'll put you in my book some how. thanks

idk what to say but the moment i read it i thought of a story with an angle that only wants to help people and make the world a better place but his power only has destructive capabilities, and due to an accident with his powers he is punished.

Instead of forming a story from a foundation of pre-determined plot elements, try developing the character firmly in your mind. Then, ask yourself what his/her motivations are, what his objectives are, what makes him tick. Find the real story that needs telling and go with it. Put your characters in a situation that creates tension, and drama will come out of it if you know the people well enough. Story is about the human element--the characters, the drama they create and exist within, their reactions and decisions about those situations--not static plotlines. Those are D&D Campaigns. Which, granted, are awesome to slay beasties in, but they don't make good stories unless the characters are real, vital and organic.

(For example, Fazenda's thought about the angel with circumstances that contradict his helpless intentions is a good idea!)

but to maybee recomend something, an angel of death that befriends the spirit of a boy o0 then they could have adventures, or you could make it that the boy must die but the angel dont want him too, really im giving you a general concept so you can branch out how ya like.
what im writing right now started out as a guy who needed a wife but hated girls, thats it, and im already pretty far =P
