well i have to do this article for school and i was gonna do arts in the schools with no enthusiasm whatsoever....so i decided to say fuck that and write about why kids hate school.....so why do you hate school(if you hate school)...oh i have to write it tonight so any serious reply would be much appreciated ::D:

Why? Because it's a complete waste of time. Since I homeschool, it's a tad different, but when I was in public school I know that staying in school for most of your day is a complete waste of time, since most of the time you aren't learning anything. You're sitting and waiting to get your work, or listening to teachers talk about things that you don't either understand, already know, or don't care about.

The way I see it, schools are day care. The school will watch your children for you every day while you are at work until they are the age where they go live on their own. They give the added bonus of providing the children with "education". The knowledge you "learn" in school is pretty much only applicable for getting you into a college eventually so you can find a decent job and live comfortably. Unless you have some sort of specialized job, the only subject you'd ever really need on a regular basis would be English since everyone needs to know how to read, write, and speak properly (Maybe some math too for doing every day calculations, but only simple stuff, nothing like algebra or trig sheesh). Most of what you pick up in school will probably be forgotten quickly, that show "Are you Smarter than 5th grader" proves this. Now there are good points of school, but it all supremely depends on the teacher. Teachers can make or break your experience of school. Some really know how to teach well, others just make you do worksheets and multiple choice tests.

I'd say in the end school is more beneficial than detrimental, because without it we'd be a world of illiterate goons. But maybe not, seeing as how many people on this site are school aged and type like shit.

You really ought to do the homework though.

I don't hate school. At least, not college. High school was a bit of a drag because it was boring and I didn't absorb as much as I could. In a year and a half of college I feel like I've learned more than I did in my entire high school/middle school career.

Well I dislike school because 70% of the time I'm learning thing that I would never use in my life and the teacher know it ¬¬. But I have to say during the summer sometime I want to go to school because It's boring you have nothing to do... at least at school you have friend to see in college the teacher(some) are waay more friendly because it's not an obligation for you to be here. And well that I need to get up damn early each day suck. But anyway when I have school I don't want to go and when I am not having school I want to go... So I think that school isn't sooo bad ... but yeah sometime it sucks

Ah, I agree. Granted I still don't like it, I have to say that I have learned more in college courses than I did in high school all together. The only thing I really hate about college is the cost of books. Holy shit. I could buy several pointless and useless things for the same amount as my Public Speaking for College & Career, Eighth Edition book. >.>

Yeah ¬¬ they are soooo expensive T_T just one science book at my school can cost 150$ just ONE BOOK .... The book is more expensive than the inscription to the school
