anime: stream or download

well i'm just curious how much people actually download the animes they watch...

I do a little of both of them. If it is a on going series i watch it streaming. If the series is complete i download them in various ways.

Streaming anime is easy, but often unreliable, and inaccessible without the internet. While most of the anime I've watched has been streaming anime I much rather prefer downloading anime to enjoy in high quality. Going that extra step to not only get the anime in exponentially higher quality, but also have it available with no loading, internet, or worries is quite worth it. Downloads all the way!

Streaming is okay if it's something short. Like an OVA or something but otherwise I download. My internet is too unreliable to depend solely on streaming

I watch all of my anime through streams and if I like it I make sure to mark it as a favorite on my ANN account or my Anime Plant account. I would download if I could get the tricks I found to work but its a fruitless waste of time for me. I haven't bothered to search for anime download sites mainly because I expect there would be strings to be attached.

Actually I only stream anime to watch one or two anime to see if Im going to enjoy the story. If I like an anime I prefer to own it that way i can watch and research the anime anytime that I want rather its about the story, the producer, or each character.

I only Download that's because I have high standards when I watch my anime. I have the need of high quality picture preferably HD or SD because that way you can truly enjoy the anime not in a small or pixelated picture that is just frustrating somehow.

I stream older, already complete series. Downloading takes too much time for them. But I do download the new series every week, downloads are available faster than streams, and it's higher quality!

I mainly stream it onto my computer and watch them. For my favorite episodes...I download them as an mp4 or an mpeg so I could watch it on my PSP whenever I'm on a trip or something. It's great IMO.
