Howl's Moving Castle Sequel

::D: I work at a bookstore and there is a novel called House of Many Ways, and it says it is the sequel to Howl's Moving Castle.

Is there an anime movie for this yet or coming out? Or a manga? This book was just a regular novel - no pictures or anything.

Howl's Moving Castle was an American novel published over 20 years ago in 1986. It's actually had two sequels so far since then. It's doubtful there will be any sort of sequel for the animated movie as it had a pretty much closed ending, and Miyazaki sets all his movies in new universes.

the characters of howl's moving castle
only appear for a few scenes by the end of castle in the air.
though, miyazaki's film castle in the air has nothing to do with the book.

either way, the only real sequel to howl's moving castle is house of many ways
but i doubt that it will be made into a movie by miyazaki.

That is right. The way how Howl's Moving Castle ended they could NOT have produced a sequel from that. It was a perfect,"Happily Ever After".
