Hey, this is my first post here and I wanted to start off by showing a wallpaper I just recently finished this morning. Any comments or criticism is appreciated.

The middle is a bit bright. Hurts my eyes. Other than that, it's awesome.

I enjoy simplicity as much as the next girl, but I find some things wrong with the wallpaper. It is too small to be one, The render flare is obnoxious, It looked like it was thrown together in 10 minutes. The render was taken off of another wallpaper. On the like side except for the logo which I see there was thought and time put into it.

I can see people maybe using this, but I can also see that it seemed too hastily made. Take some time and plan out a wallpaper Larger canvas = a little bit more planning.

@ Plun, I think it might be just a preview. The original size could be too large to upload.

Sorry, just got back from a camping trip this morning. Let me explain a couple things first. The original size is 24" by 14" and as you know, Photobucket doesn't support such sizes so the image is downsized. The lens flare I think fits quite well because the left side of the render is brighter than the right. Also, I don't know if anyone picked up on it although the flare is coming off the glasses of the flag. ;p The flag logo was recolored by me as well. I found the logo although the colors weren't quite right and the border was very thick. Also CS, the Wallpaper was not too hastily made, I put quite a lot of time into making sure everything was right in my opinion and what I thought would look best. Some people like my work and others have some qualms with it but it's like that with everything and everybody since everyone has their own opinions. Anyway, thanks for the comments and I'll upload the full version if people would like it.

It's easier to upload images onto tinypic than photobucket and you have no file size restrictions.

Well I'll see if I can darken it a tad. I can see how other people might have a problem with it. But I still like it. :D

Not sure about the rules on double posting concerning graphics here and apologize if I'm in the wrong although here is the wallpaper uploaded in it's full size as well as the Lens flare darkened quite a bit. In all honesty I like it a bit more than the original myself :p

The stroke on the logo's border is too sharpened. Blur it in.
Simple work. It's rather nice.
