I Met You
I thought that I was alone
The world where no one could be trusted
All my life, I've been following others
blinded by their fake kindness
Being tossed around like a slave
The feeling of loniness
ate me up inside
and never went away
Until that day
that I met you
That day caught me off guard
I've been lifted from the dark
and into the light
Your kindness lit the candle in my heart
Sweet like sugar
yet sour at times
You care for silly old me
Since that day...When I...
met you..
We'll carry our dreams
Till we reach the sky
So when we spread our wings
the dreams we've held all this time

Before, many dreams were locked within me

of a single rose
The voice smooth like velvet
So low, it's almost soft
It whispers, "Your beautiful, my single rose."
A chill runs down my spine
It's presence lingers in the darkness of the garden
It's spirit is pricked by my denial of it's existence
like a thorn from a bold rose
It never ceases
This whisper of beauty
Locked within the mansion of secrets
A dark shadow of clouds
invade the sky
The tears of sorrow pour from the clouds
as if to cry out " He's here! He's here! This
whisper of beauty!"
A lost soul with a yearning for life
yet constantly dies inside
I wander into my garden
when a chill runs down my spine
The wind howls in desperation
He's here...
The whisper of beauty
He whispers," Welcome, my single rose. To my Enchanted garden."
The wind spirals in all directions
Cool air mixing with warm
A tiny tornado forms before me
Within that storm
A body takes place
Not solid yeat visible
His face hidden within
The winds howl and the storm cries
The whisper sings
A peace follows behind
The voice of an alto
soft and sweet
The storm and the wind
settles to the lullaby
Proof of existence
I close my eyes
His voice
The sounds of nature
blend in harmony with
it's whisper of beauty
It whispers, " Your beautiful, my lovely Rose."
