The Roles You Play

In our lives, we all play a series of roles everyday. These roles may be anything from daughter/son to sibling to friend to boyfriend/girlfriend to music lover to video game fanatic to dreamer. For this thread, I want you Anime Fuelers to choose FIVE ROLES that you play in your life. Then, for each role, write at least 3 to 5 sentences how/why you play that role and how/why that effects your life and who you are.

I'll start, obviously.

1. I am a friend, who's sleeve is thoroughly soaked through with tears of joy and sorrow. I'm know as the "Comedian" to my friends, as I provide comic relief to those of them that are going through a hard time. I tell them not to cry for any reason, as that will result in me crying. Doing this makes me feel important enough that I am dependable and always there to give them a good hardy laugh at life.

2. I am the ULTIMATE older sister. Dark_Angel and Eggroll think that they always have something on, when in reality I have everything on them. Eggroll is, and always will be, my "Fluffykins"(lol) and Dark_Angel will always let me pick on her. This world would mean nothing to me without them. *sniffs*

3. I have the COOLEST mom on the face of the Earth. I mean, how many people can honestly say that their mom plays WoW and Final Fantasy? Almost nil can. I take after her in so many ways. She's the one that got me hooked on video games. She's also one of those cool mom's that crack sex jokes at you at the most RANDOM times. I am proud to proclaim that I am her daughter.

4. I am, in more ways than none, an aspiring writer just waiting break through my shell. I have so many short stories written down in the most random places. But where to put them all? They are of several genres with my own people or ones from different animes. It's fun steering the plot away from it's original destination! XD

5. I may not do it on AF, but I always refer things back to video games. I am a total geek and video game addict. There's just something about swinging a sword or throwing a bomb or pounding a Goomba or tomb raiding or generally just shooting things for the hell of that's fun. But I don't just do it for fun. There are those games that I get really into, like say emotionally in depth with the character(s). To me, it makes the ultimate gaming experience to actually get and feel for the character.

1. I am a lover. for every eye that has shed a tear i have dried it. for every woman that has needed that someone i was there. for every time she was lonly i stayed by her side. for every need i have given.

2. I am a friend. for every ride that was needeed i was there. for every tight spot i had their back. for every injury i had a mend. for every laugh i was your echo. for every cry i was the shoulder that muffled.

3. I am a brother. for my sisters i protected. my brother i had his back. my sisters i made sure were never harmed by another man. my brother i helped him win the girl. my sisters and brother both sat side by side in jail saying "Boy that was fun.

4. I am a son. for every mystake i was corrected. for every triupmh i was congradulated. for every change i was understood or left alone for every family heart ache i was the backbone.

5. I am Otaku. for every epic anime i have watched. for every halfway piece of work i gave it a try. for every manga i try to read. for every con i shall be. for every fan art i will admire. and for every otaku out there i am your lover i am your friend i am your brother and i am another......

Oh my, this is going to be a crazy thread.

1. Being a responsible and supporting older sister. With my little sister in the hospital, I need to be supportive. Tis hard though, cause every time I see her I want to cry. She looks up to me as a role model, so I'm always by her side. Learning things I need to know for when she's home from the hospital. Like meds, cleaning her central line, and more.

2. Helping people with problems. I don't know why, but a lot of the time I feel like a Therapist (which is never a bad thing). People come to me for help and advice a lot of the time, and I try my hardest to help. Helping people with problems gives me a certain satisfaction I can't earn any other way.

3. Sometimes, I don't know what my dad would do without me XD. He's really lazy, and doesn't enjoy cleaning. But, when I'm in the mood, I go cleaning crazy. I find it to be time to myself a lot, while I'm helping out my dad a lot. :P

4. Molesting On AF. It's my duty to be 'the molester' of the CB. It's what I live for. Nothing is more satisfying than a good fondle and touching here and there with a noob.

I am a friend who will do anything in the world to know her friends are alright. I take on the role as the protector, the friend, willing to do anything. I ALWAYS keep promises, secrets, anything you name it! I am always willing to listen to my friends, try my hardest for them. I always want to help out and offer up hugs to them. I am the protector. I am known as the leader of my group. That was shown though one event that happened. I can always make my friends feel welcome and I give them my respect. I always tell my friends I will stay up all night to listen to them. I would risk my life for them. I always tell my friends. “I don't care if it is 3am, if you are upset and need someone to talk to. Call me , text me I don't care I will listen” My friends mean the world to me.

I am a writer. I have been writing for ever and I will always write. My writing skills have come from the long years I have spend roleplaying. My love of roleplaying inspired me to start writing. I started of writing little inuyasha fan fics here and there. Then last year me and Quiet took my ability to the next level and together we wrote a 64 page story. I plan to keep on writing for a very long time. I always have these little ideas in my head and I dream up little parts of story that could happen.I have became such a good writer that I am able to feel and live my characters emotions. I speak from my heart and when people say my writing is really good, then it gives me more reason for me to write.

I am a girlfriend. As you all know I am dateing Soulten. We have been together since December 4th 2008 @ 12:26am. I am very happy with him. Out of all the guys I have ever dated he is the only guy that has treated me with respect and he shows that though the things he tells me. I love him and I am very happy with him. He makes me feel like I am loved. He really has changed my life and I am so glad to be with him. I can tell him anything and I know he will try his very hardest to help me.

I am a daughter to a mother who is a very great women. My mother is a strong willed, loving and funny women. My mother is a very good lady who does all she can for her family. She likes final fantasy music. I am thankful to have a mother like her.

I am known as Ali, Aki or Kimber. Each has history behind the name. They make me who I am. I am original.
