Yes there is a thread about love but I dont think there is one for Valantines yet. As for the holiday, I'm whatever about it. Right now I don't have a gf so I have absolutely no plans what so ever, but when I do I usually let her decide what to do, as long as I get some action.

i do think valentines day is a waste, mostly because i don't understand why you would go all out for the person you claim to love on that one day of the year. if you truly do love some one, why not have fun every day?

but i for one DO NOT think LOVE is a waist of time!

You have not. Kids do not fall in love. Anyway, I find it amusing. I find myself a Valentine, and him/her and I just scarf down chocolates all day. And if we're really bored, we'll sarcastically recite love poems to each other in monotone. It's quite the blast.

i've never really liked valentines day myself cause one i was dumped on that 2 i never got anything fron the last person i was in love with 3 i just don't know how to feel about it anymore

If I'm right Valentine's day is an old celebration. It goes back to the ancient times. It's related somehow to a priest. Bah I will search some facts about it and I will report back.

And about the holiday it's a good time to recieve roses ;) I have plenty I kept them they are decorating my room :)

Lol I remember back in elementary school how we would all sit around waiting to pass out cards to everyone, and it would always be a competition to see who got the most. Lol a popularity contest nonetheless. *shrugs* I've never had a bf on Valentine's Day, I think it's overrated myself, not like love.. indeed to be in love would be a wonderful thing, and for anyone who thinks differnet well maybe they just haven't found the "one" that will show them otherwise.

Valenine's Day is actually someone I know's birthday. On the day I just say "Happy Birthday/Valentine's" and that's the end of it. Nothing special to me about it
