Yes it is. Although anime is a form of entertainment they also use them to promote messages. For example, Shugo Chara! promotes the message of being true to yourself which is why one of it's EDs is "Honto no Jibun" which means "true self"

You shouldn't compare anime with reality. Well, there are things that are true.

I'd say your thoughts are right on the money. A large amounts of my moral beliefs come from anime.

Gintama episodes have names that teaches you lessons but none of them actually makes sense.
If you had to chose between reality and anime though, I would rather live in anime.

I agree.
Some of the things characters say, are true.

I guess you would call it, "good quotes".
Some of them are like lessons/morals
Or like good advice, for lack of a better word.

I hope i made sense.

Sure there are. It's mimicing reality, they show the best morality. The main characters are always have high morality. And they share their wisdoms with their enemy before they defeat them.

I found refreshing Death Note, it would be a good topic to debate about has someone got the right to decide of peoples lives even if they are criminals. Entertaining and make you think. The best!

A lot of animes teach stuff usable on a daily basis, for example...
Well, there's no need for examples, you know what i mean anyways.

well of course it does.... most anime convey real life ..instead of it being a real series it is anime.. and of course there are animes with no lessons what so ever...but i think you can get some real life lessons from anime

yeah, its true that anime teach about real life stuff, like meaning of friendship, respect your planet and so on... but real life is not just that, there are some hard lessons to learn and I think anime does not show 100% that part of the real life ...

Most anime try to be about something bigger than itself, make people think about their lives and possibly instill some values. Unfortunately all too often that lesson is relegated to "Believe in your friends!" or something corny like that.
