Is Guild War good?

Anybody thinks I should get Guild War. I mean what is the game like?

i heard it was pretty good but i never played it. dont want to pay monthly like everquest or wow

Guild wars doesn't have a monthly fee, you just buy the expansions which aren't that much, the game was decent enough especially for ppl starting mmorpg's or ppl that don't want to worry about monthly fee's although at least a few of the servers have some lag, at least back when I tried it, it may be different now, I haven't played it in a while, and at the time I was working off my wireless connection so that may have affected it too

I've played alot of mmorpg's, I tryed Guild Wars for a fair month and a bit, in all honesty the beta weekend they had was a million times better than the finished product, it's alot mroe forgiving that some of the harder mmorpg's that require you dedicate alot more time to them, and party play is also pretty fun with the right people. I however didn't like it too much and found too many better alternatives. The only other game that comes to mind which is free of monthly fees and is a one-time price is RF Online.
