Chiptune Music

Recently I've been listening to a good bit of Chiptune music, specifically Game boy music. If you're unfamiliar with what chiptune music is, it's basically that type of 8 bit sounding music from the NES and Game Boy, that sort of thing, and people using the sound capabilities of these devices to create some pretty awesome music that's got a surprisingly good sound. The "Chiptune" scene is much bigger in Europe than it is in other parts of the world, and seems to have actually pretty much been around as long as the old systems have. The group I've been listening to the most (pretty much solely) is a group from Austria called dot.matrix, they got some cool songs. Anyone else here ever heard of, listened to, or know anything about Chiptunes? Know of some good groups and/or songs? Think I'm a total nerd for posting this?

Yeah and I downloaded one just for teh lulz and all I can say is:ok....

Some of it is pretty good, tho some just make the music just for the sake of making it, which is mostly the ones that suck
