That's right ladies and gents...Animefuel.com now has an irc channel! For those who know what is, and how to connect to an irc channel - you can get there by going to:
Server - irc.renmei.deltaanime.net
Channel - #AnimeFuel
But for those of you who don't know how to connect, let me explain what and how this works. Irc is basically a chatroom, and all you need is an irc client such as mirc (although there are soooo many others out there, I'll list a few at the end, don't worry ;) ) So, if you haven't ever used irc - here's how you can get to the AnimeFuel chatroom and have some fun!
Firstly, you need an irc client, I will use mirc in this tutorial because it is IMHO the best one there is :P You can get it from their site located at: http://www.mirc.com/
You know what else? They also have a neat little setup guide located here: http://www.mirc.com/install.html
Okay, so you have it installed and are ready to join up for some fun...how do you get there, you ask? Well, I'll tell you...
Go to File > Select Server and you will see this window:

Enter your name, email, nickname, and alternative nickname, then click on "Servers" on the left side of that same window. You should then see this window:

Now, click on the "Add" button on the right and you'll see a new window, all you have to do is add the following in the correct boxes:
-> in description type "Delta Anime"
-> in irc server type "irc.renmei.deltaanime.net"
and then hit okay, so now you are back at the server list and you should then be able to find the new server in the list like in the following picture. Make sure you highlight it by clicking on it and finally hit "OK" at the bottom of that window:

Okay, we are almost done, w00t! Now, all that is left is to connect and join the channel. To do this click on the little lightining bolt in the top left corner like in this picture:

Now, if the username you wanted is already in use, you will have to choose another one. And you would do that by typing the following line (including the slash!):
/nick new_nickname_you_want
Okay, one last thing to do and you'll be in the channel! Type #Animefuel into the line provided, click the Join button and you will be connected to the Animefuel irc chatroom!
It will then connect you to the room and the fun shall begin! I personally idle in there so if I don't answer right away, just wait a sec and I'll realize I am being spoken to :P
Now, as promised - alternative irc client links...in this thread at the top are quite a few that will do the same job as mirc: http://www.irc-junkie.org/viewtopic.php?p=40 I only have experience with mirc, so I can't really make a suggestion as to how they are used =/
Buuuuuut if you have any questions or anything feel free to post and I'll do what I can to help you get connected to what should be a good fun irc room!
