Story Title Help!~

(Okay well I am writing a story for my English class, and I can't seem to think of a title for it. )

~*~ Plot Line ~*~

(Back story) A man went to the neighboring town to by his wife a 5th wedding anniversary present. He left his 5 year old daughter and wife at home. When the husband returned he saw that the town had been raided and that his wife was dead. His daughter Arcadia was no were to be seen. The man left the town, vowing to never return again.

(Story starts here) Arcadia, now 17 had lived. She knows of her mothers death and presumes her father is dead now. She thinks that her father abandoned her and the mother. She is on a journey to seek answers why "Her father abandoned" them. But when she is nearly killed, she meets a stranger who knows more about her than she thinks.


(Well that is what my story is about, please help me think of a title for it

It's easier to make a title, after you've taken a look at all the elements of the story.

First:
When is the paper due? (that helps people, like me, who want to lend you a hand. Like should we rush?)
How long will it be?
The number of pages will tell us how much detail you plan to put into the story. A long story demands more thought to be put into the title, insted of something cheap and uninspired.

Second:
Is the story focused on the father or Arcadia?
The atmosphere of the story...is there a war, depression, end of peace time..?
Which time period is it..Medevil, Modern..?
Is it mainly an adventure story or adventure/revenge story?
Will there be romance, action, and so on?

In all honesty, it really depends on how serious you are about the title. I've already come up with some names, but i'll wait till more is explained. I just need a little more info.

How far through this story are you? It's more typical to think of a title once the story's complete, so that you can work with the elements of the story in it's creation. It could be anything from descriptive of the story or main themes, or a symbolic element that wraps it all together.
Get it finished and chances are a title will pop right out at you. It's better to focus the title around your story rather than the story on the title.
