This game is awesome! I used to get all worked up about world of warcraft, but not now. This game has better graphics, more detail, better character creater and much more. And on top it's not as confusing and you can fly (lvl 30 except winged elves who fly from lvl 1)

I've never heard of it. Is this a freebie online game?

Thats the best part. It's free to play though you still have to download. But this game is pretty much played all around the world. I can't wait to play it.

I'll have to post it tomorrow, I'm having a problem with the link. You can go to wikipedia and look it up, then again you could go to youtube and watch some videos.

Somehow, I get the feeling it wont stay that way for long. But to be honest, it looks kind of "meh" to me.

It looks kind of interesting, but once again, yet another free mmo, I don't know what to think, a lot of mmo's offer the awsd key movement system, so nothing new there, although I am a fan of it. Didn't really see anything in the storyline that jumped out and grabbed me, the cash shop looks like nothing new, about the only things that caught my interest were the ability to fly at lvl 1 with the Winged Elf class, and some of the classes themselves. It's one of those games that I'd probably check out on and off for the next 2-3 months and see if the storyline is better than the site lead me to believe, otherwise, I'd probably forget about my account after my initial time playing and check out another one.

*UPDATE*
If anyone does play I'm on the Lost City server, my chars are named Vessaga and Dhamessina :)
So far its pretty fun, a lot of promising content.
I've played just about every mmo out there and this game has the most detailed character customization out there. It goes into cheekbones, body size, eye size, lip definition, even hair texture. Whereas most freebies give you maybe 6 types of faces and hair and everyone is wearing the same outfit depending on your class.
Not in this game! Lol (I'm a big custom fanatic.) Its what I hated about WoW everyone's armor after a point is the same.
Other than character creation, its nice to play a free mmo that lets you use "w,a,s,d" instead of point and click although you can use either one.
The environments are well done and the ambient music is not to shabby. Plus a good amount of people play, 2 of the 3 servers are at high population. (The 3rd is a PvP server and its at medium.)
ANyway its FREE but it doesn't look like it would be so why not give it a shot :)
Hope to see some of you in game.

Tried it out, played a blademaster up to lvl 11, and have found that it starts to get boring pretty fast. There's some neat things to it, the towns look pretty spiffy and the leveling system doesn't look all that bad, but it's just not... fast paced enough for me. I'll probly try one of the other classes before I give up on it, but not looking entirely promising >.>

I didn't care for the blademaster or the barbarian myself. The archer and the cleric are my faves so far. I got bored as well so I've been crafting stuff and playing with the auction house. ::D:

Yeah.. my fascination in MMOs died sometime ago. There are still several that I would really like to play or get back into. Still love playing WoW whenever I get a chance, and I'd love to get back into Warhammer after playing through the beta. Other than those, I prefer playing standard multiplayer games, like Diablo 2. >_> I'd love to get a Baldur's Gate 2 multiplayer game going.

So I gave it another shot last night, and I'm having a whole lot more fun with it. Venomancers are much less boring than blademasters, and I also found a button to turn the graphics up which made everything a lot prettier. I'm not going to say this is the best game ever of course, but I'm getting to be pleasantly surprised now.

Opps yeah perfect world, well it was my cousin who made this for me. I was kinda out of town and I asked him too. But here are the links you wanted.

ps I'm a hurt him for making the mistake.
I just recently started playing it, too. I'm a big melee fan, so I went with the BM, though the other classes look pretty interesting.
I've enjoyed it, thus far. The environments, character details, outfit/character customization, and the sheer number of different mounts are all nice features. I love the fact that it's set in Chinese mythology, too. And the character animations during combat are very good (I've only played the Blademaster, but in combat the character looks like he's trained in the martial arts, as opposed to generic hacking and slashing this way and that.)
I've also enjoyed the music. Really lends to the Chinese mythological atmosphere.
For a free MMO, you probably can't beat this.

I may try it again at some point now that I know a little more about the game, but I think I'm also going to try out either archer or wizard. Venomancers are insanely easy solo class, but from the looks of things they're meh for party play.
What server are you on, Salt?
Heaven's Tear.
I should say, however, that I haven't played this game in a while. I recently purchased Mass Effect, and it's been sucking away all my gaming attention. Also, being as I'm heading back to school this weekend, I need to find out if I'm even allowed to play Perfect World on my university's network; technically, any game that requires you to go online and hoard bandwidth is against the policy, I think. So before I commit to playing with you or anyone else I need to figure out if I'll even be playing at all. But I'll sign on and add you if you wish, assuming you're on Tear. :)

Limiters, however, are usually just for downloads which tend to be the big bandwith suckers. Regardless, what's the worse they can do, slap you on the wrist and tell you to stop?
I'm on Lost City unfortunatly, giving pvp server a shot :)
