best anime plot

ok,theres alot of good animes out there ,art characters and everything else aside,wich one has the best plot(as in story)



i say deathnote who wouldnt want a book were anybodys name that is writen in it will die,i mean i no id want to be a "death god"

For a more mature anime, I'd be with you on Death Note.
As for lolicons (notably immature anime) Zoids: Genesis appears to be doing well so far. It seems as though it's writer is not a fan of plot holes.

Personally I'm a big fan of Spiral, that turned out to be a really good anime for something I originally bought on a whim, my only issue w/ it is that it seems somewhat unfinished at the end, I want them to do a second series to wrap things up

I think Death Note has a brilliant plot. && I wish I owned a real Death Note Book. >.<

But, I also think that Wolf's Rain has the best plot.

ghost in the shell. their plots are amazing. so many events that seem totally unrelated but everything spirals down into a big mind blow. shirow knows his stuff.

I will stop there.... though I don't wanna. Those are some great plots and if you haven't seen something on this list, give it a try. Higurashi no Naku Koro ni is a bit twisted and deep for some I'm sure and Samurai 7 is based on a much older B&W film but shares very little in story other than direction.

These are a few I feel shouldn't be missed for various reasons... mainly plot.

i just finished watching Death Note light is one fucked up dude but i enjoyed it but the ending was a bit of a let down but still a great anime

I like most of Death note, but when you know who dies and change the persecutors the series lost something.
I also like a lot Samurai 7, samurai x and cowboy bebop.

Death Note or Ghost in the Shell definitely wins something for good plot. Now I personally like YuYu Hakusho.. it's by far my favorite anime and it really does have alot of character evolving within it, especially with Yusuke. Another one to note is Escaflowne. Great series. Hmm.. I'll also have to go with Ghost Hunt, if anyone's watched that yet. I think what got me the most about that series was that it was genuinely the first creepy anime I've ever seen.. one that makes your heart race watching it.

Also, any of Miyazaki's films of course have outstanding plots, with Naussica being one of my favorites.

I could have swore i already posted here, but I guess not. Some animes I have watched with great plots that just really grip you and make you want to keep watching are Death Note, Fullmetal Alchemist, Code Geass, and Dragonaut -The Resonance-

But I would have to say the absolute best anime story would have to be Elfen Lied. The story is the best, it's touching, action-filled, and mysterious. I think the story in Elfen Lied is one the best stories I have seen/read in from any book, movie, or show.

I really like the balancing act that D-Gray Man (Allen Walker) has going between Good/Evil. But its really dragging on.(I would prefer 24-72 eps, any longer and fillers detract from the story. IE Bleach.) Death Note- as much as ive seen- is Brilliant!! But I hear theres a questionable ending to it. Rah Xephon, Black Lagoon, and Elfen Lied are right up there also.
