You say you'll define life, but you don't. Kind of defeats the purpose of the piece, doesn't it? You say it's filled with strife and it carries a potent poison, but you never define it.

I'm not really sure I like your sudden decision to go with a sing-songish rhyme right in the middle of it, either.

Not bad for a typical emo poem, though.

It ends with death, and depending on the preceding occurrences, any variation of emotions or attitudes. You can choose various options: A. Accept that life is finite, nothing tangible can truly last forever, and humans are merely marker smudges on the dry erase board of the universe, and adjust your activities accordingly. B. Realize that since everything sucks so much, we've got to try and do something to make it not suck as much. C. Eat healthy, exercise, and Garlique and hopefully you'll become immortal. If not, find the fountain of youth or get Will Smith to breathe on you.
