Naruto Uzimaki had a difficult start to life. When he was a newborn baby, his village came under attack from a terrible demon fox that seemed unstoppable. Only through the sacrifice of the Fourth Hokage, Yondaime, were they saved, as he gave his life to seal the demon fox in Naruto. Because of this, Naruto was unable to have a normal childhood. He was treated as an outcast for containing the demons spirit and he was never able to keep any friends. He eventually realizes that he has great potential to be a skilled ninja as he views the Ninja Academy as his only chance for improvement.
