Claymore
Clare is a member of the special group of women known only as the ‘Claymores.’ They serve humanity by using their superior fighting skills to kill the brutal creatures, known as youman, that plague the local populations. The Claymores exist as extraordinary warriors due to being made part youma through a process that men cannot survive. But, they must carefully control their youma half or face being taken over by their demonic powers. Raki is just an ordinary man who doesn’t realize that his brother is actually a demon in disguise. He is exiled from his village left only to seek a partnership with Clare, as he simply has no where else to go. Clare eventually accepts him as a traveling companion and cook for her journey across the land to kill demons and seek revenge for the murder of her mentor.
