Sakura Kusakabe is a normal teenager who is unfortunate enough to invoke the wraith of God. He apparently will go on to accidentally find the secret to immortality that causes women to stop physically aging after twelve. This tends to offend many future women along with God who see him as responsible for catering to a pedophiles dream. To stop him, an angel is sent back to kill him. Dokuro Mitsukai, his assassin, decides that he is worth redeeming though and instead decides to occupy his time to the point that he will never be able to invent immortality. The crazy antics that follow and his attempts to evade other angels sent to kill him make up the bulk of the show.
